Escorts Kubota Tractor Sales Rise 19.1% to 10,072 Units in August 2026

Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business reported strong tractor sales in August 2026, selling 10,072 tractors, up 19.1% from 8,456 units sold in August 2025. Domestic sales were the key growth driver, reaching 9,523 tractors, a 20.5% increase compared with 7,902 units in the same month last year. The company’s August performance was supported by steady rural demand, favourable monsoon conditions and healthy Kharif sowing activity. Expectations of improved farm incomes and continued agricultural operations also contributed to tractor demand. Going forward, Kharif crop performance, reservoir levels and the upcoming festive season could influence market momentum, while higher input costs and a strong year-ago base may moderate growth.
